Chernobyl nuclear plant exploded in 1986, affecting the entire world with radiation. The management of the plant post-catastrophe is an important ecological issue.
One of the issues with the plant is the management of the polluted air that leaks out of the plant. However, considering the physics of thermodynamics, hypothetically air leaks out of the nuclear station may be real only during the day because during the night airflow may change direction. This affects the measurements of how much radiation is leaking into the atmosphere.
We have created an internal air control system prototype that measures vertical airflow. By adapting the existing sensors, a new kind of sensor was created that can measure the speed and direction of a vertical airflow
